ISO 19650-6 specifies requirements for the collaborative sharing of structured H&S information; supports progressive digitization of H&S information from project outset; provides specifications on how H&S information is shared for use throughout project and asset life cycles; and sets out an H&S information‑cycle framework for identification, use, sharing and generalization of H&S information through information management processes. It is applicable to individuals and organisations that influence procurement, design, construction, use (including maintenance) and end‑of‑life of building and infrastructure assets, and may be applied where BIM is not used.
