Abstract
This national code (SP) establishes principal technical provisions and organizational requirements for hydraulic structures (dams, spillways, water intake and discharge structures, HPP buildings, navigation structures and associated works). It updates and consolidates key parts of СНиП 33‑01‑2003 into a single svod pravil to be used by designers, constructors and operators of hydraulic works. Sections include classification by hazard class, design bases, reliability justification, operational and protection zone rules, and referenced loads and actions.
